Abiotic
Abiotic factors are defined as a nonliving contributer to the ecosystem chemically. In lake and pond ecosystems many include light, nutrients, oxygen, pH, temperature, and turbulance.
Biotic
There are many different kinds of biotic factors in lakes. Biotic factors are defined as any living organism that affects the way the ecosystem works. Some biotic factors include producers like cattails, bullrushes, and lily pads. some secondary consumers include mallard ducks and small fish. a tertiary consumer example would be a heron. A couple of examples of decomposers would be worms and flies.
